MusicCast

MusicCast is a revolution in the field of networked audio. MusicCast devices can be used separately or together, as you wish. They are all controlled via an intuitive, fluid and easy-to-access mobile application. Use a soundbar, wireless speaker, amplifier, hi-fi system or any other device that suits you, then combine them to extend your multiroom MusicCast system. Yamaha’s brand new MusicCast system streams all your music, everywhere, for everyone.

Multiroom MusicCast

MusicCast uses a high performance wireless network to broadcast and enhance the sound. This multiroom protocol can transfer music from a smartphone, PC or NAS to other MusicCast devices in your home. It can also share music from other devices like a TV or Blu-ray player connected to the SRT-1500. The audio content from Bluetooth smartphones and tablets can also be transferred to MusicCast devices in multiple rooms.

Large and Immersive Surround Sound

Yamaha’s digital sound projectors create real (not virtual) surround sound by producing sound beams that reflect off walls. You can control the directions of the beams with the remote control or app. Thanks to a large listening area, several people can enjoy powerful and immersive surround sound.

Wireless Music Streaming via Bluetooth or AirPlay from your Smartphones and Tablets

Enjoy the music from your songs or movies on your smartphone or tablet, wirelessly. You can also use AirPlay for maximum listening quality with your iPhone or iPad. At the same time, control your YSP-1600 sound projector while keeping control of the playback sources. As the Bluetooth receiver remains active at all times, you also have the option at any time to turn the SRT-1500 projector on or off from your wireless device.
